When every time you sit down to write, the phone rings.
When every time you feel inspired with an idea, dogs begin to bark.
When every time you type out the next sentence in your long awaited creation, someone asks you a question.
When every time you think that this will be the day that you can get much of your work done, circumstance forces you into the mundane.
When every time you finally sit down in peace and begin to write, it is so late that you just want to go to bed.
It is the world challenging you.
Giving you opposition as with any other pursuit.
But you cannot stop.
It is the sign of these struggles that let you know what you have always questioned.
You are a writer, and your words need to be heard.
